Stowaway Liftgate
The stow-away tailgates are for van bodies, stake bodies and trailers and have a pre-assembled pump and cylinder. These tailgates have torsion spring assisted folding, heavy duty reinforced spacer and standard snubber kit to prevent wear during transit. Level ride stow-away tailgates are for van bodies, stake bodies and trailers with a self-leveling action. Other features include extruded aluminum full tapper platform, torsion spring assisted folding and dual stow latches.
Conventional Liftgates
There are several different models for conventional tailgates for van bodies and stake bodies. These models include tailgates that have a cam activated power close platform and cylinder power close platform, adjustable cylinder rod and clevis, and latch chains for transit.
Medium Duty Railgates
Medium Duty Railgates are for van bodies, stake bodies, cutaways and step vans and have torsion spring assisted folding. These railgates have a fully enclosed pump cylinder, auto safety latch system, and level ride steel and extruded aluminum platforms.
Side Loader Liftgates
Sideloader tailgates are also for van bodies, stake bodies and trailers and have dual spring assisted folding. These have a wide lift arm design with level ride extruded aluminum platform and standard power down.
Heavy Duty Railgate
Heavy Duty Railgates are available in several models for stake bodies, van bodies, cutaways and trailers. These railgates have features including power cam close folding, direct hydraulic cylinder lifting, dual cylinder folding, dual safety latch, level ride steel platforms, rail reinforcement for dock landing and standard cable brake for added safety.
Toplifter Liftgates
Toplifter tailgates are for pickup trucks, van bodies, flatbeds and different types of service bodies. Thieman carries two models, one is gravity lowering with manual close platform and the other is gravity lowering with torsion assisted platform opening and closing. These have dual stow latches, enclosed cylinder and power unit, and dual lifting cylinder design with adjustable rod and clevis.
