For trailers – that spoonful of sugar is regular periodic trailer maintenance.
Trailers need preventative maintenance at least once per year if you want to avoid costly damage like bent axles or wheels flying off. Bearings, wheels/tires, brakes and lights should all be inspected and serviced so your trailer performs as you want and when you want.
